If so, get ready for a long challenge that will require you to roll up your sleeves and open your mind. Coins is a tricky and addicting brain-teaser that you will want to share with your friends and family! This is a challenging online puzzle game where you have to maneuver sets of sliding wooden discs (coins) into specific positions on a board.
The objective is pretty simple – in each level, there are a number of highlighted areas that have to be filled with the available Coins. The restriction is that a Coin can only be 'moved' to a placement (position) where it touches at least two other Coins at that moment – that's the tricky part! Your number of moves are also limited. The difficulty increases as you progress, but the simplicity of the game play makes this awesome little brain-teaser extremely addicting. There are no tricks or special moves, just good, old-fashioned problem solving. Your strategic skills planning will be tested, as you have to plan two or three moves ahead in later levels. Ok – it's time to see if you can slide your way into the record books!
How to Play: In each level, your goal is to maneuver the Coins (circular wooden discs) into the differently-shaped Highlighted Areas. There are always the same amount of Positions within each Highlighted Area as there are Coins, and the level is not completed until all of the available Positions within the Highlighted Area are filled. Move the Coins by clicking and dragging them using your computer mouse or touchpad. The challenging part is that you can only move a Coin into a position where it touches at least two other Coins 'at that moment'.
If you make an invalid move, the Coin snaps back into the position you dragged it from. You have to get all of the Coins into the Highlighted Area in the fewest moves possible to score high. Your Move Counter runs along the left side of the game screen (the vertical column of bars fills up each time you make a correct move). In later levels, there are differently colored Coins that can only go into specific Highlighted Areas. To reset the level at any stage, click on the circular arrow in the top right corner.
